Beacon Hill Park: This is an urban oasis that’s perfect for a leisurely walk.  It is like our central park; a few minutes’ walk from your cruise ship. Head right along the water. You will then also see Mile Zero, a marker of the Trans-Canada Highway that crosses from here to eastern Canada. In Beacon Hill Park, keep an eye out for the park’s resident peacocks. If you arrive before 5:00pm, enjoy the Children’s Farm and their multiple animals.

Explore Butchart Gardens: Butchart Gardens is a National Historic Site of Canada, about an hour from your cruise ship. These world-renowned gardens are a floral wonderland, created where once there was a cement quarry. Wander through the Sunken Garden, Rose Garden, and Japanese Garden, each offering its unique breathtaking beauty.

Lunch or dine at Fisherman’s Wharf: For a distinctive eating experience, visit Fisherman’s Wharf, a 10-minute walk from the cruise ship terminal. This vibrant area of fishing vessels features a colorful community floating homes, fresh seafood, great Mexican eatery of fabulous salmon tacos.  Enjoy the view of the harbor and venture along the inner harbour trail to reach the Empress Hotel in Victoria’s Inner Harbour.
